Wind will increase again this morning with potential for 50 to 60 mph gusts in the most exposed areas through this afternoon/evening. A High Wind Warning is in effect for the Del Norte Coast, with Wind Advisories going into effect for the rest of Del Norte County and Humboldt County.
A very large swell will begin to crash onto area beaches during the tail end of Thursdays storm. This swell will bring dangerous breaking waves of 22 to 26 feet. This swell will persist through Friday morning. If you must be on the beach, take extra caution!
