Heavy Rainfall in the Southwest; Scattered Severe Thunderstorms in the Mid-Atlantic

Heavy rainfall and the potential for flooding will continue through this evening in the Southwest, with particular concern for flooding over recent burn scars and higher terrain. Do you notice a yellowish hue to the sky on Monday? Believe it or not, it's from massive forest fires in central and northern Canada! With northwest winds today, the smoke was carried southeastward into the Northland. The smoke is far up in the atmosphere and you may not even be able to smell it, but it is causing the yellowish hue to the sky. Do you see it where you live?
