...Summary...
The National Weather Service in Cleveland OH has confirmed a
tornado near Fitchville in Huron County Ohio on November 05,
2017.

The tornado touched down west of Fitchville near the intersection
of Crescent Rd and Rome Greenwich Rd. A mobile home on the south
side of Crescent Rd was mostly destroyed. The south side of the
mobile home still remained anchored in place while the northern
half of the home scattered as debris to the south and north. The
tornado then skipped along to the east-northeast, generally
missing the township center of Fitchville. The tornado touched
back down just to the northeast along Palmer Rd where it snapped
and uprooted several trees. A clear path continued off to the
northeast through several corn fields with evidence of rotation.
The tornado then damaged a small barn on Exchange Road with
roofing material scattered on both sides of the road. The tornado
lifted just west of the intersection of Fayette Rd and Greenwich
East Township Rd.
