The U.S. Drought Monitor (USDM) is produced through a partnership between the National Drought Mitigation Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the United State Department of Agriculture, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The data cutoff for USDM maps is Tuesday at 8 a.m. EDT. The maps, which are based on the analysis of the data, are released each Thursday at 8:30 a.m. ET.
