Strong winds today, followed by snow with possible squalls overnight

Gusty southwesterly winds locally as high as 60 mph are expected today, mainly between 2 PM and 9 PM. Downed power lines and trees are expected. An arctic cold front will bring light snow showers, with embedded snow squalls tonight, mainly between midnight and 5 AM, across the area which will reduce visibilities and make travel difficult, especially for the Tuesday morning commute.
