Rain and Mountain Snow in the Pacific Northwest; Warmer in the Western and Central U.S.

Across the Pacific Northwest, a plume of Pacific moisture will continue to bring moderate to locally heavy rainfall to lower elevations and heavy snow to the northern Cascades into the northern Rockies through Monday. The National Weather Service Office in Albany, NY is actively involved in educating the communities we serve in eastern New York and western New England through our Outreach Program! Currently, we are capable of setting up virtual or in-person meetings for groups of all ages interested in weather. Our meteorologists can focus on various topics such as careers in meteorology, weather basics, and general weather safety, to name a few. Below is more information for school/group presentations, with a request form in case you are interested in setting up a virtual lesson!
