Snow is expected Thursday afternoon and early evening as a fast moving front passes over Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valleys before weakening over the Gulf. Light snow will cause difficult driving conditions during Thursday’s afternoon rush hour through into the evening. 1 to 2 inches of new snow accumulation are expected.
Remember to slow down and allow for extra travel time when driving in snowy conditions!
