Several rounds of thunderstorms will result in heavy rainfall and generational flooding. 10-15 inches of rainfall is expected north of the Interstate 40 corridor through Sunday afternoon, with 2 to 8 inches to the south.
There is a Enhanced Risk for severe thunderstorms over most of the Midsouth on Thursday. Primary severe weather risks include damaging winds, large hail and flooding. Secondary risks include tornadoes.
