Winds will increase this morning and reach peak intensity mid afternoon before decreasing late afternoon through evening. The strongest winds are expected to occur in far southeast Montana and Sheridan County Wyoming.
Cooler, wetter, and windy conditions are in store once again late Wednesday through Friday morning. 40-60% chance of at least 0.5" of liquid precipitation, and 50-70% of at least 10" of snow in the mountains.
With this mid weeks wet system, there is a higher chance for snow impacts than this past weekends system. Recent trends have focused higher probabilities for significant snow across the mountains and foothills.
