Mountain Snow

Rain arrives late Tuesday, becoming widespread overnight into Wednesday. Ponding on roadways is possible along with isolated lightning. Gusty winds to 25 mph are expected over the Columbia Basin.

A weather system moving through the region will bring snow to the mountains beginning early Wednesday morning in the Cascades and at Sherman, and beginning at Lookout during the afternoon hours. Slushy to light accumulations on the roads are possible, especially for Washington, Sherman and Stevens passes.
